Oysters & Art Shuckfest 2026

Duxbury Oyster Company and The Art Complex Museum invite you to Oysters & Art Shuckfest 2026, a one-of-a-kind celebration of local oysters, art, music, education and family fun.

Spend the afternoon sampling fresh oysters, meeting South Shore oyster farmers and experiencing the debut of the Northeast Seafarmers Collective. Guests can enjoy interactive oyster art, shucking demonstrations and lessons, art exhibits, beverage sampling, food trucks, lobster rolls, croissants and activities for children.

Live music will keep the festival moving all day with performances by Sam Reid & The Riot Act, Despite Dwight, High Pines and Matt Byrnes.

Whether you are a dedicated oyster lover or simply looking for a memorable fall afternoon in Duxbury, Shuckfest brings together coastal culture, creativity and community in the beautiful setting of The Art Complex Museum.

A Day of Oysters, Art and Coastal Culture

The event will feature:

  • Fresh oysters from South Shore oyster farms
  • The debut of the Northeast Seafarmers Collective
  • Interactive oyster-inspired art
  • Oyster shucking demonstrations and lessons
  • Wine, beer, cocktails, and oyster-shooter sampling
  • Food trucks, lobster rolls, and croissants
  • Art exhibits throughout The Art Complex Museum
  • A dedicated kids' corner
  • Live music throughout the afternoon

All ticket holders receive access to the museum’s art exhibits and beverage-sampling areas. Guests must be 21 or older to participate in alcoholic beverage sampling.

Children under age 10 attend free.
